Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, Inc. was contracted by Cogdell & Mendrala Architects, P.C. to provide civil engineering site design services for the Dining Commons (formerly Landrum Dining Hall) and Lakeside Dining Commons (formerly Lakeside Café) at Georgia Southern University. Both projects were design and constructed simultaneously.
Our Approach
The former Landrum Dining Hall was demolished, and the new 77,474 square foot (total) Dining Commons building was constructed on the same site. The former Lakeside Café was partially demolished, and the new 27,059 square foot (total) Lakeside Dining Commons was the result of a partial remodel and building addition. Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, Inc. provided full sitework demolition and construction plans as well as performed Contract Administration and Construction Inspection duties for the duration of both projects.
