Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, Inc. provided topographical surveying and civil engineering design and construction phase services as a sub-consultant to HOK Architects on an ~1.5 acre existing developed site situated between an existing parking lot, IT Building, Pedestrium, and Carruth Building for the construction of a new ~32,000 square foot Interdisciplinary Academic Building. The project delivery method was Construction Management (CM) at Risk.
Our Approach
The design phase scope of services included site demolition/preparation, layout, erosion control, paving, grading, storm drainage, and underground utilities with each design phase being presented to Board of Regents (BOR) for review and the CM for review/pricing.
Construction phase services included review of contractor pay requests, answering RFI’s, performing milestone construction inspections, and a final punch list close out inspection.
