Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, Inc. provided the planning, permitting, surveying, civil engineering design (including utilities), and construction administration/observations for both of these new industrial roadways.
Our Approach
The 240 acre Southern Gateway Commerce Park is Bulloch County’s newest Industrial Park. It is in the SE Quadrant of the I-16/US 301 S Interchange. The North Entrance Road is a 4-lane industrial grade roadway that serves as the primary entrance to the site. Rocky Road was a 2-lane County maintained dirt road which was improved to a 4-lane industrial grade roadway with curb and gutter and a large cul-de-sac. Rocky Road will primarily act as a service road to the park for truck traffic. Both Roadways were designed to work with the recent 301 S Widening and Intersections Improvement Project.
Both roads were financed as a whole or in part through several funding sources including Bulloch County LMIG, the GA Transportation Infrastructure Bank and the Development Authority of Bulloch County.
